3 ὅρκιον
ὅρκιον, τό, eigtl. neutr. von ὅρκιος, τὰ ὅρκια, die Opfer- u. die übrigen heiligen Gebräuche, die bei einem feierlichen Eidschwur stattfinden, vgl. Buttm. Lexil. II, 58; in der Vrbdg ὅρκια πιστὰ ταμόντες, Il. 2, 124. 3, 105, u. φιλότητα καὶ ὅρκια πιστὰ ταμόντες, 3, 73. 94, κήρυκες ὅρκια πιστὰ ϑεῶν σύναγον, 3, 245, worin die Hindeutung auf die bei dem feierlichen Vertrage zu schlachtenden Opferthiere sichtbar ist; also wie foedus icere, einen feierlichen Vertrag schließen und durch ein Opfer befestigen; vgl.
